a) Spiral wound gasket is formed of metallic stripe and soft nonmetallic packing by means of piled, spiral wound and connected its end and beginning by dot welded.
b) Depend on its excellent compression resilient, it is suitable for sealing spots where the alteration of temperature and pressure are frequent.
c) Can be used as the static sealing element of pepe, pump, valve, thermal exchange, condensing tower, plain hole and man hole of flange.
d) Widely applied in the fields of petrochemical, power station, mechanical manufactory, metallurgy, ship - building, medical and pharmaceutical, nuclear power station and navigation.

The gasket uses unsintered PTFE tapes as the filler material. The PTFE filler provides superior chemical resistance and sealabining with strongly corrosion resistant metals, it can be applied for corrosive fluids, pure oxygen gas and vacuum lines.
1. Sealability is superior to that of other SWG gasket. Usage is possible even with vacuum lines.
2. Excellent corrosion resistance makes it suitable for almost all types of fuild by selecting appropriate hoop materials.
3. Not used for glass or rubber lined flange, glass or porcelain flange.
